Per 1 & 3 - Intro to Web Design

Flash lessons
- add your song to DPS flash intro
- put your swf file into IntermWeb Design drop box today!
- make sure you name file: P1student_name_DPS_intro.swf (use P3 for period 3)
- period 3 only-distribute the Pre-Registration packets to students during your 3rd period class on Monday. Students are to return their completed packets to Gloria Zepeda, Registrar by May 20th. Those students that do not return the packets by then will have to register in the fall.
Design Requirements - DPS Flash Intro
- The words "Denver Public Schools" should animate in - each letter should animate (use motion tweening)
- Colored dots/circles should shape tween into figures/people
- Button should change color when mouse rolls over/clicking takes user to DPS site
- Short music clip - made in Garageband - should be playing when movie plays

- prepare to demonstrate your robot on video camera on Tuesday
- Robot Report: write a summary report (MS Word)on the Robot Projects (note: each student must write an original report)
- For each robot challenge, answer the following in complete sentences and paragraph form:

- Build a robot of your choice
- include a picture of your robot or a robot that matches the challenge (Robot pictures: courseware/resources/WebApps/IntroCM/robots05)
- Describe the robot challenge - what did the robot have to do?
- Describe how your robot performed and why.
- Describe who worked with you on the challenge and describe the tasks each person performed
- Give yourself a grade on how you performed on the challenge
