Classwork
How to turn in your movie:
-export in iMovie
-compress for CD-rom
-name your movie correctly
-put exported movie file into Rich Media drop box (connect to server)
-only turn in the .mov file!

Next Project: Flash slideshow
-begin collecting pictures from internet about a collection of your favorite things
-create new folder for project: name_flash_slideshow
-save pictures in folder or in iPhoto album
-collections could be: films, cars, concerts, books, musicians, birds, animals, buildings, authors, etc.
-sample here on NY Times

Requirement for your Movie on a historical person:
-should have 8 to 12 photos
-use at least 6 transitions
-have an introductory paragraph (use a title) summarizing why your person is significant
-have an introductory title
-make sure all paragraphs/title are readable and spelled correctly
-insert at least 6 titles
-create a suitable soundtrack in garageband.

Update your teacher video with the new teacher video. Get teacher video called teacherstrailer.mov from the Flash Files folder.
-note: you must edit out the bad title at beginning of movie
-edit with iMovie, then prepare in Flash

How to prepare new flash document for teacher video
-encode .mov file into .flv format
-create new flash document, use flv component to play the teacher video
