Publish your movie today:

• Share>Quicktime>Compress Movie for CD-Rom
• name movie: student_name_hland_P1.mov
• put movie (.mov) into Rich Media drop box
  

-use iMovie to describe and show the historical transformation of the Highlands area

* narrate the story with your voice - must be clear and loud!
* use historical photos from Denver Public Library photo collection
* search for highland with date earlier than 1950
* use custom music from garageband
* include old and current photos of these places: (current photos taken by you and also taken from web):

• Woodbury library (picture earlier than 1950 and current picture)
• Lumber Baron inn (formerly the John Mouat home)
• North High School (need first picture of North High from 1888)
• Denver from the air (1933) and Denver now (google)
• Asbury Methodist Church, Denver (old pic from 1882)
• 32nd Avenue at Mead, Denver (old pic from 1910)
• one picture of your own choosing (from Highlands area)
  
• your picture or transformed picture from illustrator in credits at end of movie

• Download movies to Local! (courseware/resources/webapps/Advanced Web1/P5_day_in_life_movies)
• create a MS Word document to review each movie
• categories: Author, summarize the movie, neat things
• put in basket

• see example here
• set up a blog at blogger.com (one per team)
  
• decide on team name
• each team member posts status of their work
• use real student names - teachers will be reading blogs
