Classwork

• Project 1- Finish IMOVIE Robot Project
  
• Finish making movie on robots-this needs to be complete at 8:15am
  
• Have 20 photos - each photo should last at least 5 seconds
• all photos must have the Ken Burns effect
  
• Movie must have 6 titles, opening title and credits title, plus:
  
• Name of challenge - there were 4 challenges:
• Bumper Challenge
• Time Trial (line follower)
• Canyon Jumper or Crossing the Gap challenge
• Build a robot of your choice
• original music made in garageband that plays throughout the movie
• Project 2 - Make a movie poster about your movie in fireworks
• dimensions: 8.5 X 11 inches; 72 resolution
  
• view examples here
• your poster should encourage the viewer to watch your movie
• include:
• title of your movie
• text with effects
  
• one feathered graphic
• other graphics of your choosing
  
• credits (produced by, actors, etc.)
• movie reviews

• refine and correct your presentation for May 11 dinner (everyone is expected to present)
  
• $5000 scholarship to best project - but you must present to business people at downtown dinner May 11
• we will leave north at 4:30pm on may 11 for Executive Tower, downtown; present first, then dinner; business attire expected!

Classwork

• Project: create video gallery of north seniors
• edit new video for seniors part 5 – download raw video
• download raw video from: courseware/resources/webapps/advancedwebdesign2/Senior Interviews/Raw Video/Senior Interviews5.dv
• note: the last 4 interviews might be corrupt/bad; if you cannot fix this, just use the first 4 seniors!
• once edited, save video as .flv file
• attaché flv file to flash project and add 8 new thumbnails

Also ensure that:

• add flash animation to bottom of front page
• add text descriptions for each student-see current video sample here
