Per 2 - Intro to Computer Magnet
Daily Journal
- Describe what you like and do not like about the robot projects you are working on. Use complete sentences.
Classwork
- Complete the bumper/obstacle challenge
- when done, build a robot of your choice
- use plans from blue Mindstorms book, or use plans from the internet
- Robot Report: write a summary report (MS Word)on the Robot Projects (note: each student must write an original report)
- For each robot challenge, answer the following in complete sentences and paragraph form:
- Name of challenge - there were 4 challenges:
- Bumper Challenge
- Time Trial (line follower)
- Canyon Jumper or Crossing the Gap challenge
- Build a robot of your choice
- include a picture of your robot or a robot that matches the challenge (Robot pictures: courseware/resources/WebApps/IntroCM/robots05)
- Describe the robot challenge - what did the robot have to do?
- Describe how your robot performed and why.
- Describe who worked with you on the challenge and describe the tasks each person performed
- Give yourself a grade on how you performed on the challenge
